The Open World

The World of Avált is wide and varied with 7 different areas for players to explore. 

Each area offers different biomes, inhabitants landmarks and enemies to engage in.

-Fornfjall
The barren wastes of an old volcanic crater

-Lisveden
The colorful forest of spirits

-Sushammar
The windswept southern tundra

-Klippdal
The lush forest vales of the west

-Vestmynn

The great eastern river delta

-Kylstena
The frozen peaks of the north

-Myrkskog
The dark coniferous heart of Avált.

They can be visited at any time in any order the user chooses. Either navigated on foot or by Air.

Each area will have a Siphone that a user will be able to enter to attempt to free an imprisoned Ellri. The player will need to get 3 keys from each region that will unlock the door to the Siphone. Once this is unlocked, the user will face an Acolyte boss and if the player has defeated them, the user can speak to the Ellri and will grant the player a Legend. As well as gaining a key to the Betrayer's Lair.
