Why does Ravenbound require an internet connection if it’s a single-player game?

The online requirement makes it much easier for us to balance and tweak the game and quickly address community feedback without interrupting individual players' experiences as we have found through the beta tests we ran in the past year. Apex Connect is what allows these systems to work, and we’re always on the hunt for opportunities to create even more meaningful and engaging experiences for you and the community as a whole.
